This summer, when he’s not juggling magician camp,

Rocco’s not scrolling — he’s memorizing.

Locked in. Laser-focused.

We’ve got a Vitamix with a lifetime warranty, longer than most friendships.

It’s been through early intervention, LAUSD programs, flu season spooky potions, and sneaky seizure meds.

Applesauce blended to a finish finer than Korean skincare.

Frozen spinach missions. Cauliflower slipped in like spies.

This is how we’ve made it through.

This is how he rides.

And listen — no granola.

You know we don’t do that.

We’re not crunching in a smoothie.

One wrong texture and he will melt the cheese off your skin with a single stare.

This isn’t about “nutrients.”

It’s about control.

It’s regulation.

It’s ritual.

It’s a language — and he speaks it fluently.

Just having fruits and vegetables in front of their face — in a cup, in a magazine, on a screen —

That’s the intro.

Eventually, it becomes the idea.

That’s the appetizer.

And no parent is gonna fight that.

I’m certainly not.
